Georgia M. Horak, 91, of Villa Del Sol, Marshalltown, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, May 30 at Villa Del Sol.

She was born January 13, 1919 in Hewhall, daughter of Henry and Margaret Hessenius Stelling. She married Stanley Horak on April 4, 1937 in Newhall.

Mrs. Horak graduated from Newhall High School in 1937. She worked for Public Finance for 29 years, retiring as a credit manager in 1980. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, past Noble Dame of the Waterloo Elks Lodge, and past president of Credit Women International Sixth District.

Survived by her husband; one son, Gary (Donna) of Waterloo; one daughter, Nancy (Larry) Park of Marshalltown; four grandchildren, Teresa Guenther, Lorrie (Ed) Billings, Kim (Roger) Youker, an Jeremy Park; and four great-grandchildren, Meggen Guenther, Cole and Clair Kurtenbach, and Chandler Holsapple.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Earl, and Emlin Stelling.

Memorial services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, with inurnment at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
