Services for the Rev. Hershel Bailey Jr., 82, DeSoto, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church.
Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.
Rev. Bailey died May 26, 2010, in DeSoto. He was born March 20, 1928, in Tyler.
Survivors include wife, Birdie Ruth Mayes Bailey; sons, Chester Bailey, Dock Jackson Jr., Clifton Jackson, Rachiel Jackson and Donnie Jackson; daughters, Linda Bailey, Linda Jackson-Young and Flora Bailey; and 20 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
