Peter Jedlowski, 80, of 116 Woodland Drive, New Kensington, died at 4:30am yesterday (Aug. 28, 1966) in his home after a lingering illness.
He was born in Sokolow, Poland, and emigrated to the United States in 1903. First residing in Creighton, for the past 50 years he was a New Kensington resident. Mr. Jedlowski was an employee of the New Kensington works of the Union Spring and Manufacturing Co. until he retired in 1956.
He was a son of the late John and Agnes Tokacz Jedlowski.
Mr. Jedlowski was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington; the Polish Roman Catholic Union, New Kensington; the 25-year club of Union Spring and Manufacturing Co., New Kensington; and the United Steel Workers of America, New Kensington.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Frances Mroczak Jedlowski; four sons: John and Charles, both of New Kensington; Walter and Edward, both of Cumberland, MD.; five daughters: Mrs. Charles (Catherine) Tadrzak, Mrs. Stephen (Sophie) Fedoush with whom Mr. Jedlowski resided, Mrs. Steve (Helen) Rykaceski, all of New Kensington, Mrs. Frank (Ann) Sawicki of Steubenville, Ohio, Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Faber of Bethel Park; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Pisarczyk of Ford City; 29 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends are being received in the W. S. Krupa Mortuary, New Kensington, where services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, followed at 10 by Requiem High Mass in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, with the Rev. Edward P. Sierocki, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
