May was the daughter of George Washington DUNN 1856 – 1888 and Aurelia Christina AUL 1859 – 1893. [add info re: her siblings etc]
At age 18, she married Edward Fredrick SEIDEL, age 22, on 24 Apr 1902 in Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin. They had three sons from 1903-1907 as they moved around the lumbering areas of northern Wisconsin. After a move to Whitney, Nebraska, where they were living at the 1910 census, they moved next to Umatilla County, Oregon, where their only daughter was born in 1912. On 1 May 1915, at age 35, May's husband, Edward died in Portland, Multnomah Co, Oregon.
On the following 5 Jan, 1916, May, age 32, married Henry Harrison HINES, age 29 and single, in Umatilla County, Oregon. Their first daughter and son were born in Fairview, Multnomah County, Oregon, in 1918 and 1918 respectively. In 1923, they moved to Portland where their last child, a son, was born in 1924.
