Ruth Monroe Pinkston, 73, Sullivan, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 1993, at Miller's Merry Manor, Sullivan.
She was born Nov. 2, 1920, in Knox County to Frank and Gladys Hall O'Haver.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Monroe, who died in 1966.
Survivors include her husband, Malcolm Pinkston; one son, Michael Monroe, Elletsville; three stepsons, Dennis Pinkston, Sullivan, Michael Pinkston, indianapolis, and Redgie Pinkston, Graysville; one daughter, Nancy Thompson, Sullivan; two stepdaughters, Pam Pinkston, Sullivan, and Renea Benson, Robinson, Ill.; one brother, Gerald O'Haver, Sullivan; one sister, Helen Davis, Freelandville; five grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Alexandeer Funeral Home. Burial is in Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until time of services Monday.
