My 2nd great Uncle.

Son of Isaac Chambers & Nancy J. Kaufman (they married February 4, 1858). Unknown what happened to mother, but father married Martha Thompson June 1, 1867.

In the 1880 census for Helt, Vermillion Co., IN, Uncle James is working as Farm Laborer, boarding with the Henry W. & Susan Jenks family.

Uncle James married Eda Belle Pittman, May 19, 1886 in Anthony, Harper Co., KS.

They have seven children; not not yet linked:
Twin of Otha, Otis
James Lee Ralph

Blacksmith, Dairyman and Farmer.
