Clifford M. Neil, 89, of Springfield died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at St. John's Hospice. He was born June 30, 1916, in Springfield, the son of K. Clifford and Lillian Shrader Neil. He married Alberta Young in 1943 in Springfield. A son, John, preceded him in death.
Mr. Neil was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired as a lab supervisor from Sangamo Electric Co. after 42 years. He attended Christ Episcopal Church.
Survivors: wife, Alberta; son; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sister; and two nieces.
Graveside services: Camp Butler National Cemetery, the Rev. Tom Novy officiating.
