Verna M. Goshert, 92, formerly of West Wyomissing, died July 1 at 5:50 p.m. in Columbia Cottage, Spring Township, where she had been a resident for two years.

Her husband, Russell H. Goshert, died March 13, 1988.
Born in Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Laura (Bittner) Hettinger.

Goshert had been employed at her husband's business, Goshert's Quality Fuel on Blair Avenue, for many years. She had previously worked for Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing.
She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.

Goshert is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann (Goshert) Greth, Douglassville, and Darlene D. (Goshert) Wengert, Sinking Spring.
There are also eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul R., on April 12, 1990.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville. Burial will be in Mellinger's Cemetery, West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County."
