Mrs. R.E. Aldrich, age 93, died Wednesday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Aldrich greatly enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Aldrich; and two sons, Clemmie and Ralph Aldrich.

Survivors include her children, Margaret Quarles, Sylvia (Roscoe) Hill, Talmadge (Betty) Aldrich, Aubrey (Patty) Aldrich, Joyce (Ray) Saxon, Jerry (Jean) Aldrich, Gloria (Paul) Crosby, Harold Aldrich and Deborah (Herman) Harville, all of Statesboro; 14 grandchildren, Ronnie Blizzard, Terry Quarles, Larry Hill, Linda Robinson, Todd Aldrich, Brian Aldrich, Angie Cook, Audra Nelson, Allan Aldrich, Dell Saxon, Kyle Aldrich, Ashley Brannen, Jason Harville and Nicole Green; 13 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Grace Colson of Statesboro.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Mike Newman officiating.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be in the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Robinson, Brian Aldrich, Dell Saxon, Justin Quarles, Jason Harville, Terry Quarles, Ronnie Blizzard and Allan Aldrich.

Memorials may be made to the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Charles Gay, Treasurer, 1212 Old Register Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.
