Opal Marie Hall
Mrs. Opal Marie Hall, 93, Springfield, joined her beloved husband in heaven on Monday evening, July 15, 2002.
Opal was born February 25, 1909 in Crocker, Missouri to Charles Issiah and Dessie (Payne) Jones.
She is survived by her son, Charles John Hall, St. Peters; her daughter, Virginia Holtmann, Springfield; nine grandchildren, Susan, Lynda, Pete, Sam, Tim, John, Lyn, David and Beth; and many wonderful great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; also surviving is her sister, Gladys Ray, Springfield.
Although she will be greatly missed she will live on in our hearts forever.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2002 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1609 N. Summit, with Fr. Joseph Peplansky CMF and Msgr. Thomas Reidy celebrants. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today with visitation to follow in the church.
In lieu of flowers, please remember the family in your prayers or if desired memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Kitchen, or Community Hospices of America.
