Mrs. Minnie A. Barnard, 76, died
early this morning at Boardman
Valley hospital following a prolonged
illness.
She wag born June 14, 1877, at
Lancaster. She moved to Suttons
Bay with her parents as a child
and lived there until her marriage
to Herbert Barnard, May 31, 1896.
They moved to a farm at Monroe
Center, where they lived. After
their retirement they moved to this
city where she made her home for
the past 35 years. Her husband preceded
her in death, November 25,
1919. She was an active member of
the Ladies' Aid society of the Reorganized
Church of Jesus Christ
of the Latter Day Saints. She was
secretary of the Ladies' Aid society
lor many years.
Surviving are one son, Louie Barnard,
of this city; one sister, Mrs.
William Challender of this city;
one brother, Walter Emerson, of
Seattle, Wash.; several nieces and
nephews. One sister preceded her
in death.
The funeral service will be held
at 2:00 o'clock from the Martinson
funeral home In this city, with Rev.
Doty Price officiating. Burial will
be made in the family lot in Oakwood
cemetery.
