A native of Wells County, Violet M. Alberson, 86, died Sunday at the home of a daughter in Fort Wayne. She retired from ITT Federal Laboratory after 15 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Beverly J. Dundon of San Diego, Nancy L. Murphy of Fort Wayne and Sharon L. Waterman of New Haven; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. There will be no services or calling time.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery at Ossian. Memorials to Heartland Hospice. Arrangements are by Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home at Waynedale.
