Mrs. Thelma Pauline Wilson, age 85, of Marianna, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006. Mrs. Wilson was born on June 22, 1921, in Hernando, Miss. the daughter of A.H. Merrell and Bessie Davis Merrell. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson is survived by six daughters, Charlotte Ellison, Marie Watkins and Kay Wilson, all of Marianna, Pat Morton of Raymond, Miss., Dianne Walker of Camden, Tenn. and Jo Faye of Flint, Mich.; six sons, James Wilson of Forrest City, Douglas Wilson of El Dorado, Phillip Wilson, Charles Wilson, Cecil Wilson and Ronnie Wilson, all of Marianna; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Wilson; a sister, Mary Merrell and one daughter, Judy Carroll Wilson. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Marianna. Burial will follow in Marianna Memorial Park.
