Bobby Charles Cunningham, 74, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Madelene LeBoeuf Cunningham of Houma; two daughters, Robyn Cunningham Rougeau and husband, Robert, of Houma, and Priscilla Cunningham Boudreaux and husband, Rene, of Houma; five grandchildren, Heather Rougeau, Jeremy Rougeau and wife, Meredith, Tyler Charles Cunningham, and the twins, Caleb Allen Boudreaux and Cullen Mitchell Boudreaux; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Paul Rougeau, Trea Anthony Henderson; and Nevaeh Nicole Cunningham; his mother-in-law, Walterine LeBoeuf; his brother-in-law, Caroll Kreamer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Xavier Joseph Cunningham and Pauline Naquin Cunningham; four brothers, Freddie Cunningham, Francis Cunningham, James Charles "J.C." Cunningham and Ray Cunningham; two sisters, Joyce Crochet and Betty Hebert; his father-in-law, Allen "Cockeye" LeBoeuf; and his sister-in-law, Zeder Kreamer.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church, an officer of the Elks Lodge 1193 and a member of Woodmen of the World. He loved many things in life including fishing, hunting and going to the camp; but especially spending time with his grandchildren and family.
