Former Goldsmith Resident Is Dead
Goldsmith, Feb. 22. --- (Tribune Special) --- Joe Mobley, who lived in Goldsmith for a number of years, died Friday night in a Cleveland, O., hospital of pneumonia. He had been spending the winter in Cleveland with a son, Vess Mobley.
The body will arrive Saturday night at the Young funeral parlors in Tipton. The funeral will be held sometime Monday and burial will be at the side of his wife in the Tetersburg cemetery. Mrs. Mobley, formerly Susan Wilmer, has been dead a number of years.
Four other children survive, Frank of Tipton, George of Indianapolis, Charles of Elwood and Mrs. Paul Lucy of near Peru. A brother, Robert Mobley of Alexandria also survives.
