La Crosse - Walter H. Renner, 81, of La Crosse, died Friday night in the Rush County Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born Jan 16, 1885 at Strosburg, Ill., and lived in Rush County 75 years. He was a retired farmer. He was married to Charlotte Fyler on April 4, 1907 at La Crosse. She died in 1958. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Clifford of La Crosse; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Wilson and Mrs. Barbara Nelson both of Rush Center, Mrs. Alice MacArthur of Hutchinson and Dorothy Scheideman of La Crosse; one brother, Parm Renner of La Crosse.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Hoover - Pittman Funeral Home in La Crosse with the Rev. Robert Jefferies and the Rev. Paul Deever, officiating. Burial will be in the La Crosse Cemeterey. friends may call at the Hoover - Pittman Funeral Home in La Crosse from 2 p.m. today until funeral time.
