Agnes Ricks Anderson died of natural causes September 22, 1996 in the McKay-Dee Hospital, Ogden, Utah.

She was born in Rexburg, Idaho, June 10, 1899, to Jeannette McKinlay Ricks and Nathan Ricks.

She played the violin and piano and graduated from Ricks College and University of Utah, teaching for 21 years in Idaho and Utah schools. She specialized in remedial reading.

Agnes married Lloyd Ernest Anderson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

They lived in Salt Lake City, Provo, Pocatello, Idaho, and after 1944, resided in Ogden. She was preceded in death by her husband, and one daughter, Janet Faye Anderson Mabey.

She is survived by children, Richard Lloyd Anderson (Carma deJong), Karl Ricks Anderson (Joyce Hirschi) and Margaret Ann Anderson Gustaveson (Dale), 29 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She served constantly in all the LDS Church auxiliaries, and was Relief Society president and a temple worker. Countless neighbors benefited from gifts of her expert breadmaking. Agnes and Lloyd strongly encouraged their descendants in church service and education.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 28th, at the Eccles Park Ward, 26th Street and Jackson, Ogden. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Friday, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
