Statesboro - Mrs. Alma D. Thompson, 82, died Monday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital in Statesboro after a short illness. She was a native of Screven County and lived in Bulloch County for the past 51 years. She was a member of Leefield Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Marie Robson and Mrs. Pearl Cowart, both of Statesboro, Mrs. Lola Reinke of Annapolis, Md., and Mrs. Romie Morris of Wilson, N.C.; a son, Robert Thompson of Brooklet; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro, with burial in Brooklet City Cemetery.
