Graveside funeral services are scheduled at the West Side District Cemetery for Taft resident Ula May "Judy" Alden, 66. The pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Alden was born in Orofino, Idaho, on Aug 24, 1929 and passed away in a local hospital September 30.

She and her family moved to Fellows in 1970 and she moved to Taft in 1989.

She had been a homemaker for over 40 years. Mrs. Alden was an avid crossword puzzle solver. She spent many years involved in Little League and Babe Ruth League when her children were growing up.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alden; a daughter, Cheryl Butz; a son, John Alden; and a stepdaughter, Carol Williams. Her survivors include a daughter,two sons, two stepsons, a stepdaughter, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, two sisters, and many close and personal friends.
