Bessie Bowerman, Daughter of Herbert and Louise Burnham Bowerman dies of Diptheria (sic) in Seattle.
Hearts of Manhattan friends will ache in sympathy with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bowerman over the loss of their little girl, Bessie, who died of diptheria (sic) at their home in Seattle, Washington on Wednesday, July 17th. The best physicians were consulted and anti-toxin was given three times, but little Bessie, never very strong, could not withstand the ravages of the dread disease, dying at the tender age of four years and two months.
Manhattan people, who remember Mrs. Bowerman as Louise Burnham, will extend their love and sympathy to her in their great bereavment (sic) and hope that strength and comfort will come to them."
