Annie Lou Manchaca Molandes, 95, of Lufkin,Texas passed away Monday, August 13, 2012, at a Lufkin Hospital. She was born April 17, 1917, in Nacogdoches Co. to Joseph Manchaca and Henrietta Eugenia (Passche) Manchaca. She was a long time resident of Nacogdoches and lived the past several years in the Lufkin area.

She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Was a member of the Lancewood Baptist church, and had retired as a caretaker for the lodge of Texas Foundries Inc.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jessie Molandes; an infant son, Taylor Molandes; brothers, Ralph Manchaca, Lawrence Manchaca, and Frank Manchaca; and sisters, Alice Jane Beard, Mary Gromer, and Mary Louise Rodrigues.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Ramos and wife Linda of Nacogdoches, James E. Molandes of Lufkin, sister Rose Precella of Corpus Christi, Tx; Grandchildren, Kimberly A. Lee and husband Johnny of Lufkin, Barbara Mackey and husband Ron of Nacogdoches, Mark Molandes and wife Kimberly L. of Chandler, Angelia Jackson and husband Darrell of Austin, Brad Molandes and wife Kimberly K. of Lufkin, Carolyn Bailey and husband Jeffery of Nacogdoches; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, with Bro. Brad Forrest officiating. Interment will follow at Bonaldo Cemetery, west of Nacogdoches.

Pallbearers: Justin Molandes, Jonathon Molandes, Devan Connell, Presley Mackey, Dakota Lee and Brandon Lee. Honorary pallbearers; Ron Mackey and Brenden Hall.
