Frank V. Deardorff, 67, R.R. 3, Shippensburg, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday in Chambersburg Hospital after an illness of three weeks.
Mr. Deardorff was born April 7, 1909, in Guilford Township, son of the late William Franklin and Ida Vanderau Deardorff. He was a member of Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church. In his early life, he was engaged in farming, and since 1959 was custodian for the Chambersburg Area School Destrict. He currently was employed at Grandview Elementary School.
Surviving are his widow, Pearl Hoover Deardorff; three daughter and a son: Mrs Avery (Eunice) Zook, R.R. 2; Hrs. H. Kenneth (Audrey) Brubaker, York; Mrs. Stanley J. (Janice) Burkholder, R.R.1; Lewis F. Deardorff, R.R. 3, Shippensburg; a brother and a sister: W. Ralph Deardorff, R.R.8; Mrs. Edgar (Esther) Stoey, 273 Roland Ave., and 11 grandchildren.
