"The Bronson Pilot Friday, September 21, 1917 Grandma Stewart, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Wolf south of Uniontown on Sunday, at the age of nearly 86 years. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in the Bronson cemetery on Monday. The funeral service having been conducted by the Rev. H. A. Babitt at the Methodist Church. Catherine McEntaffer was born in Ohio in 1832 moved to Indiana when a child of four years old, and was married to James Stewart, Feb. 7, 1855. They moved to Kansas in 1873. To them ten children were born, five of whom, together with her husband, preceded her in death. After a long life of usefullness and good deeds she has laid her burdens down, leaving many friends and sorrowing children to mourn their loss."
