Rosezillia Klein, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Manor of Perrysburg at the age of 83.

She was born June 27, 1926, in Toledo to Charles and Arvillia (Teagardin) Shoemaker and graduated from Burnham High School in 1943.

Rosezillia was employed with numerous law firms in Toledo and the Lucas County Board of Elections from which she retired in 1992.

She was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where she also served as church secretary for more than 15 years. She was also a member of the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center Choir and volunteered as a patient advocate at Harborside Care Center of Sylvania.

Rosezillia enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was devoted Detroit Tiger baseball fan.

Friends and family will best remember her for her generous spirit and "famous" baked beans at church potlucks and holidays.

Rosezillia is survived by her husband, Charles R. Klein of 59 years; daughters, Margaret (Ed) Burnham and Bonnie (Charles) Marshall - Marcis; son, Paul (Mary) Klein; grandchildren, Joshua Burnham, Amanda Burnham, Staff Sgt. Adam (Brandy) Marshall, USMC, Dr. Aaron (Renee`) Marshall, Sgt. Andrew (Sarah) Marshall, USMC, Reserves and Benjamin Marshall; great grandchildren, Mikayla and Connor Marshall.

Friends may call at the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave. (Between Monroe St. & Talmadge Rd.) Friday from 4 - 7 PM and Saturday at Reformation Lutheran Church, Douglas Rd., after 1 PM where funeral services will be held at 2 PM. Rev. Peter Burfiend, Holy Cross Lutheran Church will be officiating. Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
