Memorial services for Rex Randall Baugh, 93, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Western Hills Church of Christ with Joe Baisden and Scott Meyer officiating.

Visitation will follow the service in the Family Life Center.

Private burial will be in Greathouse Cemetery in Temple.

Mr. Baugh died Saturday, April 24, in a Temple assisted living center.

He was born on April 20, 1917, to Edward Lovic and Maude Lewallen Baugh near Rogers. He attended Heidenheimer schools, Temple High School and Texas A&M. On Aug. 6, 1938, he married Mona Delyte Hargrove in Heidenheimer. He taught school in Barclay, Content and Rogers. He served 30 years with the USDA Soil Conservation Service and retired from the Corps of Engineers at Fort Hood in 1975. He had served as a deacon and an elder at Northside Church of Christ and was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years of Temple; a son, Howell Rex Baugh; two daughters, Cleigh Nel Baugh Dalton and Judy Karen Baugh Wells; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arms of Hope, c/o Boles Children's Home and Medina Children's Home, 21300 Texas 16N, Medina, Texas 78055.
