HAROLD LATHROP

Ottumwa- Harold John Lathrop, 77, formerly of Ottumwa, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at the home of his daughter and her husband Roger, in North Liberty.

Harold was born February 10, 1928 in Des Moines to Gilbert and Violet Smith Lathrop. He married Dorothy Finley in 1950 in Ottumwa.

Harold is survived by his wife, Dorothy Of North Liberty: three daughters, Cathy Utterback and husband Erik of North Liberty, Sue VanDer Horst and husband Roger of North Liberty and Dianne Runyon of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers; and one sister.

Harold is proceeded in death by his parents; son, Harold John Lathrop Jr.; grandson, Eric Runyon; and a sister, Jennie.

The body has been cremated and private services were held for the immediate family, inurnment will be at a later date in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Shrine of Memories Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
