He was the owner of T. A. Hauling in Douglasville and a was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kathy Ann Meadows Bass of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Clyde Copeland of Douglasville; sisters and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Al Sarver of Bowdon and Judith Rogers of Villa Rica; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Sherry Bass of Villa Rica, Horace D. and Mae Bass of North Carolina, William and Ruth Anne Bass of Braselton and Ronnie and Denise Bass of Hampton; mother-in-law, Irene Hunter Meadows of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm from the Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Lee Hollis, Jimmy Skinner, Terry Hollis, Mitchell Pearson and Randy Smith serving as Pallbearers.
