Bettie Hanson, age 83, of Palestine, Texas died Aapril 17, 2010 at the David E. Foster Hospice Care in Palestine. Burial at Roselawn Park is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. She was born November 27, 1926 in Leuders, Texas, the daughter of the late George and Martha Hamm Nelson. She and Lubie Hanson were married January 28, 1946. Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.H. Hanson, Jr.; two sisters, three brothers, and great grandchild, Kelsi Seal. She is survived by daughters, Novella Oldham and Wynelle Dawson; son, George Hanson; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
