Eva Chapman Eva Cornelia Chapman, of Cedar Hill, November 04, 1917 in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas the daughter of Omer (Young) and William Bailey "Will" Summers. 

She passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at age 93. 

Mrs. Chapman was born at Penn Farm in Dallas County, Texas now a State Park.

Eva will be remembered by many as being a great cook and sharing her Christmas dinners with anyone needing a good meal and a welcome place to be on Christmas Day. 

She married Frank Edward "Buddy" Chapman on August 21, 1937 in Ovilla, Ellis County, Texas. They has three children two sons and one daughter.

Eva is preceded in death by her husband Frank "Buddy" Chapman, grandson, Jackie Eugene Greeson, her parents, four sisters, and four brothers. 

She is survived by three children, Billy Chapman and wife Laverne, Don Chapman, and Donna Jean Greeson; six grandsons; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.  Eva is dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. 

Memorial services are 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas, with Chaplain Joel Johnson officiating. 

Visitation with the family begins at 1:00 pm, immediately before the service. 

Mrs. Chapman will be interred in Red Oak Cemetery.
