Issac's father William and his mother Rachel purchased the land now known as Croton Point -Senasqua, on the Hudson River from the Kichawank Indians (who thought they were leasing it-not knowing one could own land) for 12 blankets and a bottle of rum. Rachel's mother Sarah who was a fur trader lived on the Point which was called Sarah's Point..
The land became part of Van Cortlandt's manor

Isaac is the son of John Teller (m Aeltie Vermilye). John is the son of William Teller (1657-1710) and Rachel Kierstede.

William's will written in 1710 does not mention an Isaac... just William John and Jacobus as well as 3 unnamed daughters.
