Franklin Shalter, who resided with his son, Robert, 923 Locust Street, died last evening in St. Joseph's Hospital, aged 80 years. He lived retired, and was a member of Hampden Fire Company, and its relief association. Surviving are his widow, Mary (Cunningham); a son, Robert E. T.; a daughter, Gertrude, wife of Willard Botzum, this city; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a brother, Edward, this city. Funeral Monday at 1:30 p. m.
