Simpson Funeral Held.
Galena, Kan., Sept. 3.—Funeral services for Frank Pierce Simpson, 69 years old, who was found dead in bed at his home, 1208 East Seventh street, Wednesday morning by his daughter, Mrs. E. Jackman, were held from the Sixth Street Baptist church this afternoon with the Rev. W. S. Moore officiating. Burial was in the Hill Crest cemetery.

Either his birth year is incorrect or the age on his headstone is incorrect as he is listed on the 1930 census with his son Frank in Galena Kansas. His birth year varies on the four census found for him 1900- Jan. 1855, 1910-1857, 1920-1854, 1930-1857.
