Patrick J. Woodford of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, died on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Patricia M. (Walker) Woodford. Loving father of Peter M. Woodford and his wife Kim of Scituate, Mark Woodford and his wife Jolienne of Braintree, Julie Fitzgerald and her husband William of Marshfield, Laurie Collins and her husband Randy of Marshfield and the late Richard P. Woodford. Father in law of Rae Woodford of Abington. Brother of George, Francis, Amanda, Nell and Evelyn all of Canada, and the late Matthew Woodford. Brother-in-law of Marion Penny of Quincy. Patrick was also lovingly survived by 13 grandchildren. Patrick was Born and educated in Newfoundland, Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1949. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 67 for 20 years before retiring in 1990. Patrick enjoyed dancing and was quite the handyman. Most of all Patrick was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Patrick was U.S. Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday, April 13 from 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church at 10 a.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
