Born Jan. 18, 1924, he was a son of the late John Lewis and Carrie Melvina Harvey Brunson.
Mr. Brunson was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Victoire Brunson of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Robert Stout of Rocky Mount, Va.; a son and daughter-inlaw, Patrick and Teresa Brunson of Craig County, Va.; two sisters, Mary Katherine Blackman and Margie Louise McMacken, both of Ohio; a brother, James L. Brunson of Ohio; and a grandson, Robert Patrick Stout of North Carolina.
Visitation was conducted Saturday at the Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, Va. Graveside services were scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. today in the Huntsville Cemetery, with the Eichholtz Funeral Home handing the arrangements.
