TONAWANDA, Oct. 21 — Herman C. Licht, 64 years old, died suddenly yesterday at his home, 38 North Niagara street. He was removed from the DeGraff Memorial Hospital to his home Wednesday night, apparently well on the road to recovery from an operation. Stricken with a heart attack during the night, he succumbed a few hours later.
Surviving are four sons, Reuben, Edward, Clarence, and Harold, all of Tonawanda; two daughters, Mrs. John Crowley, Zolfo, Fla., and Mrs. Henry Rebman, Tonawanda; three brothers, Otto, Sanborn, and Albert and Frank, Tonawanda and 30 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home. The Rev. Robert J. Noble, Cowlesville, and the Rev. Harold O. Clark, pastor of the Broad Street Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Elmlawn.
