NORTH CASTLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Volume 29 (2002), p.25:
Catherine Clinton (Beekman) Angevine married Horace Bartlett, a Tarrytown farmer. Sometime during the 1840s the Bartletts moved to North Castle and lived on a small farm on the corner of Banksville and Sniffen Roads until about 1881. Horace Bartlett died in February 1898 at the age of 83 years and is buried in Sleepy Hollow. An entry in the diary of Theodore Brundage, Armonk, relates "Horace Bartlett died in Middle Patent ... went to funeral in Middle Patent, he must be buried at Tarrytown with his wife."
