She was a homemaker and member of the Newcastle Baptist Church. She lived in Newcastle for 45 years.
Survivors: two sons - Deryl Anderson of Newcastle and Jerry Anderson and wife, Dianna of Newcastle; one daughter - Debra Ingram and husband, Darrell of Newcastle; three brothers - Charles Herring of Graham, Ronnie Herring of Newcastle and Don Herring of Olney; five sisters - Thelma Routon of Olney, Mary Kinser and Holly Posey, both of Newcastle, Owana Mills of Monahans, Jolene McMillian of Stephenville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother - Ledford Herring.
