Mrs. Josephine Fisher Carr, 62 years old, wife of E. R. Carr, died Sunday, March 24, 1935, at her home near Millersburg, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Besides her husband, she is survived by: three daughters, Mrs. Josie Hill, Mrs. Allene Snapp and Mrs. Elizabeth Barlow; a son, E. R. Carr, Jr.; and two sisters, Mrs. Fogle and Mrs. Lizzie Jenkins, this county. H. L. Fisher, of Bourbon County is a half-brother.
Funeral services were held at the residence at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning by Rev. G. M. Rainey, pastor of the Millersburg Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Carr had been a member for many years. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana. Pallbearers were James Fogle, Wesley Fogle, Charles Jenkins, C. F. Barlow, Frank Vimont and M. C. Carr.
