She and Joseph had five children. She resided at 1220 19th ave. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 1. She was also a devout member of St. John's Catholic Church (now the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament) and of the Altar Society. She died at age 40 of acute tuberculosis.
