She is the daughter of George W. Call & Lucy V. Anderson


Mrs. Lucy Garrison, 69, former McLennan County school teacher, died at 6:40 a.m. monday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Compton's Chapel. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Garrison was born in Guadalupe County near Seguin. She was the former Miss Lucy Call, for 20 years teacher at schools in Axtell, Oglesby, Midway, Gholson, Nalley and many other town in McLennan county.

Mrs. Garrison lived in Waco for 50 years. She attend Baylor University, State Teachers College in San marcos and Texas Christian University. She retired from teach 18 years ago.

She was the widow of the late Joe Garrison.

Survivors include three brothers, W. L. Call of Route 4, Waco, George T. Call of Route 7, Waco, and R. W. Call of Meridian; two sister, Mrs. Olga McDannel of 810 Pecan Street and Miss Mary Call of Route 4, Waco; a niece, Mrs. Gus Jordan of Route 7, Waco; a nephew, Lt. Col. George W. Call with the U.S. Air Force in Salina, Kansas.
