Larry Allen Hartshorne was born November 15, 1938, in Watts, OK to Allen and Eva (Wilkey) Hartshorne. He passed from this life Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the age of 71. Larry attended Sequoyah Elementary School, Cleveland Junior High School and Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. He enlisted in the Navy in 1956, and was stationed in Bremerton, WA and on the USS Magoffin at sea. He retired as stationary engineer from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. Larry was preceded in death by his mother; his sister, Reba Claire Haley; a nephew, Paul Seeley; and his grandmother, Laura Wilkey, as well as other grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by one son, Mark Allen Hartshorne of Tulsa; brother, David Loren Hartshorne and his wife, Vonda of Amity, AR; sisters, Laura Hamilton of Breckenridge, TX and Teresa Yarnell and her husband, Roger of Edmond, OK; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK. Ninde Funeral & Cremation, Brookside Chapel.
