SPRINGVALE — Edna Julia Fox, 90, died Aug. 31, 2000, at Goodall Hospital.
She was born in New Windsor, N.Y., a daughter of Julius Beck and Ernestine Paulsen Beck, and attended schools in Newburgh, N.Y.
Mrs. Fox was the owner of Foxie's Restaurant and the Towne Coffee Shoppe in Newburgh.
She moved to Maine three years ago.
Her interests included crocheting, working on puzzles and touring the countryside of Maine.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Armour of Springvale; and a granddaughter, Sherri Armour of Springvale.
Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
