Thomas Harold Westover is the 2nd oldest son of William Ernest Westover and Eulalia Elzada Humble Westover. When he was born he was a sickly baby, and used to be carried around in a pillow case.
Later in life, because he missed quite a bit of school, because of ilnesses,
he took the G.E.D. test to graduate High School, and passed it with flying colors.
He met his future wife Tessa Arvilla Hansen, while working at her brothers farm
in about 1934, and they courted and were married 8 January 1936 in the Logan
L.D.S. Temple.
He worked at Charter Seed Company, which was located on the corner of
Rich Lane and old Highway 91 in Blackfoot, Idaho until 1959. He then went
to work as a nurse at State Hospital South, from 1959 until his illness caused
him to stop working.
He passed away from the effects of Lung Cancer 4 days short of his 55th
birthday, and was laid to rest on that birthday. He is the father of 6 kids and
at the time of his passing in 1966, he was grandfather to 16, and since then
many grandkids and great grandkids, as well as many great great grandkids
have been born.

Note from his grandson David Metcalf :
One day when I was a baby, as I was sitting by his side, on his bed, and
he had his right arm wrapped around my mid section, I started to slide off
the bed, and since his arm was around me, his arm was pulled down as I
slid, during this time his bones were brittle from the cancer, that was
attacking his body, and this motion caused a break in his elbow, which
sadly was not able to be fixed because of the progression of the cancer.
My grandmother and mother were close by in the kitchen, which was
the room next to my grandfathers room. they both entered the room
when they heard a commotion, and saw the after effects of what happened.
They were told what had happened, and grandpa did not say a word about
the injury for about 2 weeks. With this act of kindness and love, He saved
me from sliding to the floor.

End of note from his grandson David Metcalf
