Knowlton, Clee Trenton, 88, of Paden City, West Virginia died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at his residence.

Clee was born April 19, 1921 in Friendly, WV the son of the late George Ott and Francis Jones Knowlton.

He was a 1940 graduate of Sistersville High School; the former operator of Knowlton's Texaco in Paden City, former employee of W.T. Grant Company and retired from Genuine Parts; a army veteran of WWII and a Methodist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Wagner Knowlton in 2003; two sisters, Estaline and Grace and two brothers, Delmas and Herman.

Surviving are his son, Dan and his wife, Sharon Knowlton of Paden City; several nieces and nephews.

Friends received 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, Paden City, WV where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 with Greg Morris officiating.

Interment Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Clee's name to the Paden City Flag Fund, c/o WesBanco, 4th and Main Streets, Paden City, WV 26159.
