John Anderson May, 73, of 505 Buckboard St. in Fritch, died Saturday at his home.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. May was a retired employee of the J.M. Huber Corp. A native of Scottsboro, Ala., he was a Fritch resident for 39 years.

He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. He married Carrie Mae Grace Feb. 5, 1936 in Soper, Okla.

Mr. May is survived by his wife; two sons, Troy of Skellytown, and Roy of Stinnett; two brothers, Rosco of Paris and Alvis of Panhandle; a sister, Mrs. Edith Lowrance of Soper; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

FRITCH - Services for John Anderson May, 73, 505 Buckboard St., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Kirk Lewis, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Scottsboro, Ala., he had been a Fritch resident for 39 years. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, and a retired Huber Corp. employee.

He married Carrie Mae Grace Feb. 5, 1936 in Soper, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Troy of Skellytown and Roy of Stinnett; two brothers, Rosco of Paris, Texas and Alvis of Panhandle; a sister, Mrs. Edith Lowrance of Soper, Okla.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be John Fennell, Rooster Petty, Gordon McKnight, Tee Roden, Calvin Nall and Homer Warren.
