Raymond "Shorty" Richardson was the son of Archie and Lulu Richardson. He lived part of his life in Lake Andes, SD. He married Venitha Mae McKee and had several children.
Ray died in Sioux Falls at Sioux Valley (now Sanford) Hospital and was returned home to be laid to rest in Fort Pierre with his wife who had died a year previous. Raymond was not the same after Venitha died and wanted nothing more then to be with her again. I found it touching that they both died on the 8th day of the month.
