Caroline Brownlee, 60, of Poagville, died Tuesday, August 22 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Ms. Brownlee was the retired director of the library at Northwest Mississippi Community College and a member of First Baptist Church in Senatobia. Services were held Friday, August 25 at First Baptist Church in Senatobia with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Gary Step, Jerry Stigler, Jerry Arnold, Riley Brooks, Forrest Lax and Russell Lott. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of First Baptist Church. Dr. Chuck Strong and Dr. John Flowers officiated.

Ms. Brownlee is survived by her husband, Jerry Brownlee; three sons, Jeff Brownlee of Olive Branch, John Brownlee of Oxford, and Jared Brownlee of Meridian; his mother, Mary W. Lewis of Senatobia; one sister, Nancy Dodson of Pearl; three brothers, Morris Lewis of Jacksonville, Fla., Eddie Lewis of Olive Branch, and Aaron Lewis of Laurel; and three grandchildren
