Obituary - Henry A. Stickles
4-12-1884 to 1965
Henry A. Stickles, 80, of Berryville, died at his home on Thursday. Mr. Stickles was born April 12, 1884, a son of the late Thomas and Maggie Stickles.
He had worked for a number of building contractors in the Berryville area, where he had lived all of his life. He had retired.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Lanham Stickles; three children, Clifton Stickles of Winchester, Miss Lillian Stickles and Miss Charlotte Ann Stickles, both at home, and one granddaughter, Miss Linda Stickles of Winchester.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the John H. Enders Funeral Home, by the Rev. M. Claude Cook, pastor of Duncan
Memorial Methodist Church. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Waiter Anderson, Roy Silman, Edward McWillams, Hunter Osborne, Nelson Thompson and Hunter Fuller. Honorary pallbearers were Francis Logan, Eustace Jackson, Bob Leake, Harry Bell, Smith McFillen, Ran Longerbeam and Herbert Duke.
