NELS JOHN ANDERSON DIES
On Tuesday of last week, Nov. 13th, Nels John Anderson was called to that "bourne from which no traveler returneth."
He was 74 years old at the time of his death and was born in Sweden. He was united in marriage in 1871 to Anger (Inger)Jensen, the wedding taking place in Denmark. Ten years later the couple came to America to make their home, locating in this county. He was preceded in death by his wife and four children and there are four children left to mourn. These are Nels P. Anderson, Christina Barnard, Inger Loveless, and August Anderson.
Some time before his death Mr. Anderson met with an accident which resulted in suffering a broken leg and it is believed this had much to do with hastening his end.
Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at which Rev. Franklin Jordan officiated. Guy Stephenson, assistant in the H.J. Hahn undertaking establishment at Sturgeon Bay had charge of the funeral. A large number of neighbors and friends paid their last tribute of respect by attending the rites.
