Funeral services for Mahlon Bane Butler (1866-1950), 83, a resident of Bunnell for the past 15 years, will be held at the Bunnell Baptist Church Thursday, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dixon, officiating. Interment will be made in the family lot in the Espanola Cemetery under the direction of W. Carl Davis and Son Funeral Home. Flagler Post No. 115, American Legion, will conduct the graveside services and members of the post will be pallbearers.
Mr. Butler died Aug. 4 in the Veterans Hospital, Lake City. He was a native of New Gordon, Pa., and was a retired first sergeant, U.S. Army, after serving 30 years. He fought in the Spanish American War and World War I.
